Neon Night

My last post (click here) was about the new collection of Electric neon shades.
I mentioned that the shade Chaos from the original Vice palette was the inspiration for the Electric Palette. I have ordered the new neon palette and am excited to play with it but until it arrives I thought I'd give you a taste of Chaos, the shade that started it all, with an evening look. My friend Jessica so graciously accepted my invite to model the look.
What I used:
Urban Decay Vice Palette (Chaos, Laced and Noise)
Urban Decay Eye Shadow Zephyr $18.
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Ebony $21.
Urban Decay Heavy Metal in Midnight Cowboy $19.
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden $20.
CoverGirl Lash Blast 24HR.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue $20. (Not Pictured)
I started with filling in Jessica's brows and then priming her eyes with Eden on the brow bone and upper lid.
I then put Glitter Glue on the lower half of her eye lid where I wanted the color to be most intense.
I then took a blending brush and highlighted Jessica's brow bone with Zephyr and blended Laced into the upper eyelid.
Then I took a flat shadow brush and began packing on the pigment starting on at the lash line and working upward until I was satisfied with the color saturation.
I went back in with the blending brush and Laced and blended it out a bit.
Then I followed the angled wing of Chaos with a small line of Noise.
I took the Stila liquid liner and did a dramatic winged line and followed along the top of that line with Midnight Cowboy.
I finished with the LashBlast 24HR.
As a last minute touch I went in with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Goldmine on the inner corners of the eye and on the inner bottom 1/4 of the lash line.
Thank you to Jessica for being my model! Your face is always a fun canvas to play with and you are fantastic company. Love you!
