5 Reds for the Holidays

I am a "red girl". I love it. I will buy shade after shade sure that I haven't yet found The One.
Maybe there is no ideal red, so instead I will love them all and share my top five picks for the upcoming holiday party season.
Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish 01 is a rich cherry shade with a satin finsh. This super affordable lipstick is a classic and if you are an avid beauty blog reader I'm sure you've heard of it before. I love this shade, but would recommend a liner (underneath and outlined is best) because this formula is not the most long lasting.
Urban Decay F-Bomb is a Charlie's Angels kind of red. It's fiery with pop and boldness. The company also sells this shade in their Revolution Lipsticks if you'd prefer a little less shine. The Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors are not only the longest named lipstick, possibly ever, but almost like patent leather on the lips. It's so glossy, so hydrating and also last well considering the amount of shine. I have worn this baby down to a quarter of it's size so you know the love is real.
M.A.C Ruby Woo is the definition of a brands calling card/claim to fame. I feel like I heard the term Ruby Woo before I knew that it belonged to the M.A.C range. This is the epitome of pin-up, classic 1950's style. From the matte finish, to the shade and long wear this lipstick is perfect for wearing to a party when you don't want to be touching up every few sips of coffee (or whatever it is you drink).
If there is one item to by for the holidays, this is it.
Kat Von D for Sephora Adora is a metallic golden red. It reminds me of the changing leaves. It has a spicy warmth to it that I love. The packaging I have is the older style (if you want to see the new packaging click here.) Thankfully this color stuck around after the lines re-launch because I love it. It's so unique and different from any other shade I have or have seen.
Too Faced Melted Ruby advertised as a blood red, this color is actually more of a pink undertoned red that reminds me more of Snow White apple red. It's beautiful all the same. You can apply it right from the tube, but I prefer to use a lip brush. Real Techniques Lip Brush is my favorite for on the go. You can toss it in your bag without having it make a mess because it has a cap to cover the used brush. Genius. This semi-gloss finish lipstick is long lasting and has high pigmentation and a fruity smell. I have loved this formula since it's launch.

I hope you have enjoyed this post on red lips. If you did please share it and don't forget to
follow. What is your stand by red shade? Tell me in the comments! I love chatting with you guys.
xoxo, Amanda
