2014 New Years Eve Makeup Tutorial

Now with all the glitter and sparkle that normally come with New Years Eve makeup I
thought I'd do a little something different, go matte and have a subtle sparkle. This look works for whether you're going to a blow out party, a nice dinner party or just a night in with friends; it all comes down to the outfit. I hope you lovelies enjoy!
Starting off with my favorite combo of NARS Illuminator in Copacabana and Benefit The POREfessional to prime my skin. Then, as the queen of dark circles, I used my Bobbi Brown BBU Palette to correct and conceal the darkness under my eyes.
Then I used NARS Sheer Glow in Gobi (Wow, I've gotten fair in the past few months.) and my ever trusty Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Ebony. I look ghostly in that first picture. haha
Then I primed my lids with my favorite Urban Decay Primer Posion in Eded (not pictured) and contoured with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and blended it out with what was left over on my foundation brush. Then I began with Virgin (1) on my inner corners and my brow bone.
Then I took Naked (2) all over my lid and up just above my crease. I then took Buck (3) into the crease and blend it out. Now it's time for the star of this look...
...Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Ivy Shimmer Ink I fell in love with the Black Ink and I had to get Ivy Shimmer Ink too. I think this may be all the sparkle I need. (Full review on the formula here.) I topped it off with Benefit's They're Real Mascara and then went in with some individual lashes from Ardell.
Next it was time to add some healthy color to my skin. I went with NARS Sin. Next I softened the edges with the foundation brush from earlier and just stippled the edges with no additional product added. Then for the glow I used Too Faced Candlelight Glow Powder Duo.
For my lips I kept it matte and semi neutral with Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita
And for the traditional glitter of New Years I did my nails in Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in Le Charm.
That is my New Years Eve (hold the glitter) makeup tutorial. I hope you enjoyed it and that you
got some ideas and inspiration for your own night to kick of the new year. Wednes day I'll be posting my 2014 Favorites so keep an eye out for that and be sure to follow my blog if you're not already.
