November came and went and I feel as though I hardly got to enjoy it all. Is this a symptom of
growing older? I sure hope not. It was a wonderful month filled with new adventures. There were some stand out beauty favorites this past month that were new to me and some re-discovered loves.
Nars Sheer Matte in Deauville I did a full review here and I must say that the love just did not stop when it came to this foundation. I used it every day since getting it and I have had so many people complimenting my skin since. This is a matte but not flat foundation and it can be worn sheer or built up to medium coverage depending on the brush and amount of product used.
Tarte Pin Up Girl Blush Palette I can't find this online anymore but I have still seen them in stores so check there if you're looking to buy it or check if they get them back in stock. I reviewed all the colors here. If you can't find this palette Tarte has similar hues in their year round range.
Marc Jacobs Dot Perfume I got this perfume a couple years ago for Christmas and I took it on mine and my mom's trip to San Francisco when we went back home to visit friends and celebrate our birthdays (which are both in February), so whenever I smell it it makes me think of being in the city I love. The perfume is both fresh and elegant with notes of Red Berries, Dragonfruit, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Coconut Water, Orange Blossom, Vanilla, Driftwood and Musk.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray This was a bit of a renewed love for me. I had forgotten how amazing this setting spray was. I mean I knew it worked well I just forgot what a staple it once was for me. I use it whenever doing a clients makeup and two coats for a bride. This stuff is magic. Set it and you're good all day...or night.
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner This is the first potted gel liner I can truly say I love. I've liked others, I've tried them here and there, but this one takes the cake. It is easy to work with, smooth and precise, without getting dried out. Yes!!
Kat Von D for Sephora Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lovecraft and Lolita. Lovecraft is the Kylie Jenner nude or rather the Kat Von D nude since the shade existed long before the reality stars lips' infamy did. Lolita is a true 90's shade that if you looked back you'd see everyone from the female cast members of Friends wearing to runway model. I just love them both and Lovecraft is my all time favorite nude.
MAC Ruby Woo has made it into my top 10 favorite lip shades. this color just does not quit and it makes lips look full and flawless. I can not get enough of this color and I think this is as close to "The Perfect Red" that I have gotten. The matte formula is amazing and it is a must in every makeup addicts collection.
Eylure Pro Lash Individuals This is the second box I've used this month and I don't see myself using strip lashes after trying these. They don't feel heavy and because there is no band your eyes don't feel restrained. They look more natural and feel more natural. I feel like they damage lashes less or not at all really as I use the temporary glue.
Beauty Blender Pro "In love" is all I can say...well that's a lie, I have quite a bit more to say. This is my first Beauty Blender and I'm obsessed. I'm not saying it will replace my brushes, but it is my favorite way to apply Make Up Forever HD Foundation. It just looks so natural and works amazingly for HD film and photagraphy. I love that it's black because makeup does not stain these like other colors. I had the Real Techniques sponge and I really liked it but the orange picked up some of the darker colors if I wanted to cream contour my face. I will be adding more of these to my kit for sure!
Well, that's that for November, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, to my US readers
and that everyone is enjoying there holiday season. Tell me one of your favorites in the comments and don't forget to follow my blog if you want to see more post like these.
