The Best of 2014

Can you believe that we are about to be in 2015. I can't. This year has gone by so quickly. I can
not thank you all, who have been reading my blog, enough. It is amazing to see your comments and shares and likes on different social medias. This blog has grown a lot in the last year and I hope to have it continue to build a community withing the coming year. Whether you have followed from the start or just now, thank you!

So now that 2014 is just about over I thought I'd go through my favorites for the year. The best of 2014 in my opinion. I hope you enjoy. Warning: This is not a short post...but it's a year of love.
Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette: This has been well loved since I first got it in the fall. I have done so many different looks with this palette and it was well worth the cash. This is one of my best buys of the year. Out of all the palettes reviewed this one takes the cake!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette: This is just the BEST contour kit/shade/colors I have ever come across. The formula is great, it's really well balanced and fairly priced, while being customizable. If you can get one of these, whether an MUA or just a contour lover, do.
Bobbi Brown BBU Palette: I haven't shown this on my blog too much as it is over the top if you are just a makeup lover and not doing other peoples makeup. This palette comes with every shade of foundation stick, corrector and concealer that Bobbi Brown has. This formulas are great and this is a perfect way to buy lots of product. Wells can be sanitized and refilled.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: There is just nothing else out there that does this products job quite as well. I have tried a few and non have measured up. This is my #1 finishing touch.
Tarte Amazonian Full Coverage Foundation: I have used this foundation more than any other this year. It's medium to buildable coverage, while staying light weight and breathable. My skin likes this foundation and it just looks so naturally perfect. (What an oxymoron. haha)
Benefit The POREfessional: This is my all time favorite primer. I'm looking forward to the challenge of topping it in 2015. It's velvety, hides pores and doesn't give you too much slip on the skin so your foundation still goes on well.
NARS Illuminator in Copacabana: Mix a half a pea sized dot of this into above mentioned product and your skin looks amazing, healthy and lit from within. You can also mix this into foundation for added glow.
NARS Blush in Sin: Two years in a row this has been my favorite blush. It looks so blah in the ban and then on the cheeks this berry toned blush makes cheeks look warmed up and cheekbones appear higher. This is still my favorite.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Ebony: I have fallen for Anastasia this year. Nothing I have purchased from the brand has been a let down and Dipbrow is no exception. This gives me full, defined, water resistant brows that even last in 117 degree summers. *claps*
Urban Decay Primer Posion in Eden: This has always been my favorite. I've tried primers from many different brands and this has stayed #1 for almost five years. It's great for creating a neutral base for a true to color eye look.
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner: In Black Ink and Ivy Shimmer Ink. These have been an amazing addition to my kit and to my own makeup bag. The formula is pigmented, long lasting and easy to sanitize. It is so smooth it makes doing cat eyes on clients much simpler than before. I now want all the colors. To see a look with this liner click here.
Tarte 4 in 1 Lights, Camera Lashes Mascara: This is my most repurchased mascara this year! I have gone through at least 3 tubes, which is a lot when you blog and want to test out other formulas too. This formula, however is just so good. It gives you full, fluttery, feathery, lashes that are glam yet natural looking! This is in my top 5 hall of fame, for sure!
MAC Vanilla Pigment: Thanks to Nikkie Tutorials, I am officially obsessed with Vanilla Pigment. For inner corners and browbone highlights to highlighter for super fair skinned clients (and myself). I am in love with this color.
MAC Ruby Woo: This is just one of the best reds ever. The tone is perfect and make lips look beautiful. There is a reason this is a cult classic. When I run out this will be an instant re-purchase.
MAC Nightmoth: The best lip liner for any aspiring vamp. This shade is prefect for slightly over drawing my lips for an extra full pout or for creating an ombre' with Ruby Woo. So good!!
Real Techniques Duo Fiber Brushes: These brushes just give the lightest touch to any makeup look. The blush brush is made for intense blush shades that could go clown quickly if applied with a heavy hand. The contour brush is great for building a look and the blending brush is just so good.
Beauty Blender Pro: This has quickly become a favorite to me. It applies HD foundations so well and gives the most even effect. The black is great when doing makeup on others because it doesn't stain, which can look dirty. Yes, yes, yes...I need more.
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick: I am 100%, without a doubt, over the top when it comes to KVD lipstick. I am a lipstick addict in general (hello, but the packaging, the names, the formula on these have my heart. They last so well, don't dry out my lips and the pigmentation is so REAL! If I could have every color I would be too happy.
Lush Cosmetics Ultrabland: This little number has changed my skin more than any other product. It cleanses my skin in one go and it leaves my skin truly makeup free. It's gentle and doesn't throw of the PH level of my skin because it is soap free. I haven't used any soap/lathering product on my skin in about 9 months and the difference in my skin is outstanding.
Elizabeth & James Nirvana White: This very grown up scent is sophisticated and assertive while staying feminine and soft. I really like this perfume at night and I feel very classy when wearing it.
Lush Cosmetics Lord of Misrule Limited Edition Solid Perfume: Straight from the Lush Kitchen in the UK! I was able to get my hands on one of my favorite Lush scents in a perfume form. This was super limited edition and I am head over heals for this perfume of fair trade vanilla, black pepper oil and patchouli. This sweet but grounded perfume is so calming and beautiful. Though I just got this it had to make my Best of list.

So that's that. My Best of 2014 beauty list. I hope you liked it and that you found it informative
and fun. What was your favorite beauty product/find this year? Tell me in the comments! And if you blog and did a favorites link it in the comments for me to read. Here's to a new year!
