Reviewed: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

We all know that these liquid lipsticks have been all over Instagram since before they even launched.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to get them as most liquid lipsticks aren't my favorite as far as lip wear goes. Don't get me wrong, I do see the value in their long lasting power and smudge-proof wear; I just never seem to be as drawn to them as other lipsticks. That is, until now...
This is Bloodline, which is nowhere near as deep as it looks on the websites swatches, but matches the lips on the site. That's a bit annoying as I didn't know which to expect and I didn't want to watch other reviews so that I'd have no swayed opinion. It isn't crimson by my standards, but still beautiful. No matter how many reds I acquire I will always buy more. This shade is red with a slight brick/orange tone.
This is Potion. It looks just as it does on the website. The description is perfect: Deep Eggplant. I love this shade because I think it's slightly less scary, to the general public, as Bane from Melt. I adore this shade!! I think it's so sharp and high-fashion. The shade is very pretty and makes me feel quite happy. This color is right up my alley!

Over all the texture, pigmentation and wear time is unmatched. I have liquid lip products from Sephora and Kat Von D and these out-due them both! It's smoother, less liquid, more cream and much more comfortable. I had it on from 9:00am until 4:00pm before I retouched and I took it off with my Ultrabland Facial Cleanser by Lush  around 6:00pm and it came right off and didn't leave a stain. I reapplied and even wore it the next day and my lips are fine and not dry at all. I do recommend removing it with an oil/wax based cleanser so that it doesn't drag or tug your lips too much. Also prep your lips with a balm a while before applying.

The $20. price feels quite fitting and is around the same price as competitors.

I like the packaging, I don't love it. But it does the job. I like that you are able to see how much product is in the tube. The applicator is wonderful and allows for good control over the product.

For me these are a hit and I can't wait to get my hands on some more shades that are lighter
to see how they compare in pigmentation. Do you have any shades from the line if so which ones?
