Hey lovelies! It's continuing to heat up and I'm beginning to get into my more glowing
blushes. These give you a romantic, playful appearance to the cheeks that looks amazing with a bit of a tan, whether real or faux.
Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Bellisima
I originally got this when I was doing my friend Cyndi's wedding. I knew this shade would be perfect for her skin tone. To see pictures from her big day and to see what else I used click here. But...onto my full thoughts: This is one of the few peach tones that I can wear. It has just enough pink to it that it doesn't bring out the olive and yellow tones in my skin too much. When I wear other peaches I can sometime look sickly when I'm this fair. It has a smooth texture and glows without glitter or shimmer.
Nars Dual-Intensity Blush in Adoration
I did a blog post about this just the other day so I don't want to go on about it too much. If you want full details click here. I will say that used with a spritz of Mac Fix + on your blush brush and then going in it looks like another level of glowing skin. So gorgeous. Honestly it's the only way I see myself using this blush going forward...it's that good!
Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Candy Glow
This is a classic. I believe it was the first blush I spoke about on my blog. This is a perfect blush for a natural makeup look or for a smokey eye look. I like to swirl the colors together. It has a golden champagne shimmer throughout to give you a gorgeous glow. This is a perfect blush for people who are afraid of too much blush or for girls just starting to wear makeup as it keeps the look natural and youthful.
Tell me, what is your go to blush for when it's getting warm or you've got on a bit of a tan?
I want to know, so tell me in the comments and which one of these blushes are you most drawn to?
