Getting Kinky with Some LUSH

Every now and then your hair needs a little extra love and who better to help it out than Lush?
At the Lush Oxford Street store there are some new Hot Oil Treatments for taming your tresses! It was my day off yesterday and I decided to use one of mine called Kinky. This decadent hair treatment cost £6.50 and is well worth it. Kinky is made for those with curly hair in need of some strengthening. After I lightened the ends of my hair I have been sure to treat it more often.

This treatment has a base of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Castor Oil along with strengthening Lanolin to hyrdate. On top of all that it sports a beautiful perfume of Vetivert Oil, Rosewood Oil and Ylang Ylang Oil, leaving hair smelling devine!
I followed the directions, including the suggestion for a cup of tea. Right away the scent filled the kitchen and I loved it.
Here is how much water I used to melt down the treatment. I included both sides of the measuring cup depending on which system your country uses.
As the oils started to melt it began to fluff up to a sort of over mashed, mashed potato consistency. I ended up microwaving it for about 15 seconds when the water stopped melting it.
I then put all of it throughout my hair and then tucked it up in a bun and enjoyed my tea while eating breakfast and enjoying a bit of a Netflix binge. I ended up leaving it in an hour. I rinsed it out and then washed and conditioned as normal.
Afterwards my hair was refreshed and softened. It felt silky and didn't wheigh my hair down at all. My hair smelt amazing and looked shiny. Over all I can't wait to use more of these treatments the next time my hair need some love.

Have you tried any of the Lush Oxford Street goodies yet? If you have tell me which ones!
I would love for you to tell me what you liked best. I'm so pleased with the way my hair felt I will be
saving my other hot oil treatment, Damaged, for when I touch up my color again.
