First Impressions: Tarte 2015 Holiday Launch

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...at least in my email box, because there are so many
holiday launch notification emails from all the makeup brands. Last year I loved the Tarte holiday range and this year was no different! I went threw the Tarte line up and this one was a must have. This kit is called Light Of The Party Collector's Makeup Case.
This Sephora Exclusive kit comes with 24 shadows in the main palette and 6 in the smaller palette, along with a full size blush, bronzer and a pink toned highlighter. To top all that makeup madness off it has a mini Lights, Cameras, Lashes Mascara and a double ended eye brush.
Behind the smaller palette is a nice sized mirror, which is handy for travel.
The case is a sequin covered, metallic gold that is pretty sturdy. For some reason it reminds me of my childhood. I guess it just reminds me of early 90's holiday sweaters. You know the ones.
Pictures on the left are in daylight and the ones on the right are with flash.
This year I can tell Tarte has stepped up their shadow game! I love last years palette, but this year the mattes are smoother with better color pay off and the metallics have less fallout. I think the bronzer is a little orange toned for my taste but still usable. The highlighter is a very wintery color, picture snow angel, and it has a really good glowy, frosty look, making this holiday perfect. (Though a no-go for darker skin tones. Such a bummer they didn't use a more universal toned highlight.)

I think Tarte Cosmetics does some of the best natural palettes. I think this palette, as many of theirs are, perfect for creating a natural glam look. Kind of a I-just-look-this-good makeup. These are all the types of colors I would want to see in a holiday palette. I also think this is an amazing gift for a makeup lover or makeup beginner.

The holidays are coming. What brands holiday range has your eye and do you think this palette is
something you'd want to get? Tell me in the comments. Please let me know what kinds of look you want to see me create using this palette, company party, night out, brunch or maybe a ski bunny look, whatever you want, tell me!
