I have been wanting to pick this blush up all summer and of course, I got it in September. haha
I love a lavender blush and I have some plans for a few upcoming looks with this for fall. This is also my very first Clinique product.
First off, this color is so pretty and the daisy design is great! I really like the packaging. It's simple and allows you to see the cute daisy and blush tone without opening it at all. This Cheek Pop is in the color Pansy Pop, a soft lilac.
"Discover pure, natural cheek color that looks virtually powderless. Its unique, patented technology transforms pure liquid pigment into a smooth, silky powder through a process of slow baking, leaving true color—from compact to cheeks. This silky smooth, stay-true formula creates a vibrant, healthy-looking glow without a trace of powder residue."
I think that over all this blush lives up to it's claims. It doesn't come of powdery, even with built up color. The look is healthy and the blush adds a nice glow without being shimmery. My only disappointment is that it has to be really built up for more than a faint touch. Sometimes it's okay to not be sooo pigmented. That may be the only way that this look of a non-powdery finish could be achieved, though. But over all I like it. I am not blown over to dash out the door to pick up more shades or to raid the Clinique line for more finds. I am simply pleased and glad I gave this blush a go.
Have you tried a Cheek Pop Blush? What did you think of the pigmentation and what color did you
use? I love hearing from you and knowing your opinions too.
