The season is changing and my skin has noticed. It has been breaking out and having some sort of
fit. Now that that seems to be settling down and my skin is getting used to the change I am ready for a makeup mix up. I love more neutral looks in the winter. There is something really sweet about flushing cheeks and simple makeup.
To create this glow I used...
Becca - Backlight Priming Filter Primer
This primer is fab! It adds a soft focus to the skin and is glycerin based so makeup really clings to the skin...in a good way. It feels so light and not slippy at all.
Make Up For Ever - Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 117 = Y225 Marble
This is probably my go to foundation. It gives me my ideal coverage and it feels so comfortable to wear. I only have good things to say about this foundation. It looks so skin like and natural while giving medium to buildable coverage.
Milani - Baked Blush in Dolce Pink
I picked this blush up because I have yet to be let down by a Milani Baked Blush. They are as nice as high end blushes for about 1/3 of the price. This is a rose pink with a gold shimmer running throughout.
Make Up For Ever - Mist & Fix
This has officially taken the place of my Urban Decay All Nighter Spray. I know, I feel dirty just saying it. Sometimes you feel like you need to stay loyal to something you've loved so long.,,or maybe that's just me. Mist & Fix hydrates powders, helps blend a look together and make the finish more natural. If you are more on the oily side you may not like this as much, but I have used it on friends too and they really like it. This also makes your highlight GLOW!
Tip: If you are combo and want that glow/hydration on the cheeks but no the T-Zone then simply spray your face and then dust your more oily areas with setting powder. Yes, you can set your setting spray!
I also used... (not pictured)
Kat Von D - Shade + Light Contour Palette
So what type of makeup do you like to wear in the winter. I like either really glowy with natural
makeup or really matte with glam. Tell me what your go-to is this season and give me a recommendation of one product you think I must try! Can't wait to talk to you.
