Reviewed: YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector

Oh man, Yves Saint Laurent, so pretty and so pricey. Every so often YSL has a shining product
that seems worth the price to me. The entire Touche Eclat line is usually lovely. I love the Touche Eclat: Radiant Touch and I actually was treating myself and picking one up when I ended up instead grabbing this, the Touche Eclat Blur Perfector. I mean you have to choose when it comes to YSL as it is not the most affordable brand.
I swatched this product and after feeling the texture I was hooked. You can use this under or over your makeup to perfect and mattify the look of the skin. When used as a base this balm to powder product helps to smooth fine lines and pores, while helping skin to stay less oily throughout the day. If you are more on the oily side of skin or you want an ultra matte finish you can use the included sponge to tap the shiny area to touch up during the day.

You can also use this product alone to smooth skin and give it a light glow. This shade is universal for all skin tones and I think would work with all skin types besides dry.

Over All:
This product does what it claims, and to my shock, works under and over foundation. When I used it under my foundation it actually kept my skin from getting oily in my T-zone during a 10 hour day. When I didn't use it under I used it to set my foundation, applying in a tapping motion on my nose, and it worked and didn't remove my foundation, much to my surprise. I really like this product as my skin is pretty normal and doesn't get oily until about 7+hours in my makeup and mostly just on my nose. However, powders can dry my skin out and this doesn't seem to do that.

Trust me when I say I was relieved that the product worked because it was not cheap. I don't normally return things, not often anyway. I usually give it to friends who it would work for. This one I would have returned if it wasn't good. Luckily the product works and it didn't all come down to the brand name and packaging...which is stunning! Honestly, I want to powder my nose just so I can whip out this gorgeous blush pink and yellow gold compact.

So does a product like this sound good to you? Have you ever seen anything else like it before?
Tell me what you think, I always like to know. Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving.
