2016 January Favorites

This month I  had a few things I could not stop using. As I said in my end of year round up, I'm
going to try to do these posts every month.  A lot of the things are gifts I got for Christmas. I tried to keep it to the things I used nearly every day or at least three times a week. I hope you enjoy!

Nivea - Post Shave Balm in Sensitive
This is a game changer, at least for me. I am so beyond impressed by how well this works as a primer. I'm not going to go on too much, but I will recommend it to everyone to try. Here's the full review I did here.

Bobbi Brown - Skin Foundation (shade Warm Ivory 1)
This foundation is gorgeous. It is the best light to medium coverage foundation I have tried. It is named perfectly, Skin Foundation. You are able to give a no makeup look using this foundation. I have a look in mind with this foundation, so keep an eye out.

Becca - Afterglow Palette
This palette was a Christmas gift and it is everything! It has 3 Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors and 2 Mineral Blushes. These colors literally work for everyone as the pressed powders are so flexable. I use the shades that are too dark for me as blush overlays or eye shadows. So beautiful.

Marc Jacobs Beauty - Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer Lipgloss
This is one of the most comfortable glosses to wear, it doesn't dry out your lips or get sticky. I am a huge fan of this gloss as it isn't crazy pigmented, it just is what it is, a gloss.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade
Okay, this is what I use on my brows...always. Brows are one of the few makeup products I don't mess with too much. It works and I love the look. The reason this has made the cut this month is because I just replaced my first Dipbrow. I just hit pan on my first pot after about a year and a few months. Not only was it simply time to be replaced for sanitary reasons, but it just now was getting to be a little too dry to work with! Here's a big round a applause to ABH for an amazing product that is well worth the life span I got out of a single pot.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Clear Bow Gel
This is a must for me and I can't do my brows without it now. The tail of my brow hairs like to stand up and this just lays them down. After a few months of using this gel they tend to lay more flat without the product too, as though the hair follicle has been trained.

Make Up For Ever - HD Microfinishing Powder
This has now taken the place of my Tarte powder for setting the under eye area. It is so fine and doesn't feel like it dries out the delicate skin. I am so into this product right now that when my sample size is gone I will be grabbing a full size.

ColourPop - Lippie Stix in Grind
I recently did a ColourPop haul (see that here) and this has now become the stand out shade in the bunch. I have worn it with a cat eye and with minimal makeup and have gotten compliments every time I've worn it.

Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finishing Powder in 1 Fair
This powder is some kind of magic as it somehow has both Sweet Almond Oil and Rose Wax in it that help it not to look cakey. It is the only powder that I have been able to set my whole face with and not feel dry and uncomfortable. It sets makeup, absorbs excess oil and still looks luminous. To top it off, because it's not white it doesn't have any flash back in flash photography.

Charlotte Tilbury - Cheek To Chic Blush in Sex On Fire
This blush is one of the best formulas I have tried it is smooth, creamy and builds beautifully. It makes the skin look lit from within and healthy. It reflects light without looking overly shimmery. I am itching to pick up another shade because I am so wowed.

So these are the things I have been impressed with this month and have reached for again and again.
What are your favorites this month? Tell me or link your post in the comments so I can have a look. Have you tried any of these products? Tell me what you thought!
