Every so often I see some drugstore products that catch my eye. When I saw these three beauties,
I had to try them! The packaging was really nice for the drugstore and the colors looked great. My fingers were crossed that the products would be good.
Julianne's Red 401 is just the kind of red I've been looking for. I've really been swatching for a while and had not seen just the right shade of melon/orange/red. I think this shade looks so amazing with warm, glowing skin, neutral eye shadow and curled, black lashes! I reminds me of a '60's makeup ads. Eva's Nude 610 is the very on trend '90s brown nude. It looks great with all kinds of makeup. I personally really like it with a soft smokey eye. The formula for both of these is creamy and easy to apply. Julianne's Red is a demi-matte and Eva's Nude is a cream finish. Both wear very well and honestly feel like a high end lipstick. The packaging is really pretty and looks high end. I would totally buy more shades from the range.
As a person with fair skin, it can be hard to find drugstore foundations that are light enough for my skin. Of course that statement is true on the other end of the spectrum too. Sadly, even the lightest shade in the range is just a bit to dark for me, which is a shame, because I really like the formula. It looks like a high end, sheer to light coverage foundation that wears really nicely. It doesn't have a scent, it blended nicely (I used a Beauty Blender over the included sponge.) and it looked ideal for spring/summer. I'm going to hold onto it since I tan very easily. I try not to spend much time in the sun, but just walking to and from my car or spending one day walking around outside with sunblock on and I'll be a couple shades darker. From the few times I wore this so that I could review it I really did like it! There are only 12 shades in the range and that just doesn't leave a wide window for many people to enjoy the product.
So have you tried any of these products? What looks like it would be up your street? Tell me what
you think in the comments and let me know what products from the drugstore you'd recommend I try.
