When Becca came out with a new water-light luminous foundation, I was instantly excited! Super
light, glowing foundation that is made out of 32% water. Then Becca comes out with a blush based on their famous Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed formula. Yay is what comes to mind!
This foundation is a light to buildable coverage. I would say it doesn't quite build to a medium, but it does build well for a touch more coverage. The color range is very wide and soon will be even larger as Becca is adding an even fairer shade to the range! The range includes 8 shades that match a wide range of skin tones due to the formulation. Some of the star ingredients include: Hyaluronic Acid, to plump skin and add radiance and helps with anti-aging. Vitamin E, which is antioxidant rich, adding softness. Vitamin C, to brighten and help improve skin texture and Green Algae Extract, to help hydrate.
I think this foundation is lovely! It truly gives that signature Becca look. I think it applies best with a damp Beauty Blender, of course I haven't tried it with the Becca Foundation brush...yet. I think this formula works best for those with normal to dry skin as this is very dewy! I found that this foundation works best without too much setting powder. Some powders seemed to make the foundation separate.
Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in Tigerlily
This tangerine blush with champagne and gold tones can be used as an overlay with other blushes or as a glowing pop of color that shimmers! I feel like this gives that Sports Illustrated/Victoria's Secret glow. It is that glorious Shimmering Skin Perfector formula that feels like butter! It glides on and never looks powder-y.
I think this blush would look lovely on all skin tones! Honestly I'd love to use this on someone with very deep skin! It would look stunning! I am going to order another shade when more become available later this month. I am a big fan of glowy blushes, so this is right up my street!
So here is the look I created using both of these products and they really are the stars of the show
for this look! It reminds me of those Hollywood shots of that glowing, beach girl, who surfs and has perfect skin coming out of the ocean. What do you think? Tell me in the comments!
