A Coral Kiss with YSL

Normally coral shades, on my lips, totally wash me out. My skin tone is just not well suited for those
peachy-coral colors. Wandering through Sephora a few weeks ago I saw this YSL Rouge Volupte' Shine Oil-in-Stick in the shade 41 Corail A Porter (Translates to Coral to Wear.). My first thought was 'Too bad this wouldn't suit me.'. I swatched it and loved the shade, but I walked away. Weeks later I couldn't stop thinking about that shade so I just picked it up, crossing my fingers it would be pink enough to work for me...
...luckily it was!! This is that perfect, juicy, summer time shade that you can just pop on, without a mirror, on the go. It adds a bit of hydration and doesn't leave a line of demarcation on the lips as it fades. I quick swipe gives you a bit of color and a few gives you a fresh melon toned pink.
Of course we all know that Yves Saint Laurent is a luxury brand and that the packaging is a step above. I mean, when I pull this bullet out of my bag, I feel downright swanky! I love that this shade works for a smokey eye or a fresh face and is not too big of a faff to put on and feels really nice. I could see this shade being great for a coffee with friends in the morning or a night on the town. Over all, if you can't already tell, I'm obsessed with this shade!

YSL has a unique scent to their lip products, one that doesn't put me off, like a lot of the too sweet ones do. The scent is described as mango, which is pretty spot on. I have another shade from the range that I got a couple years ago in the shade 4 Rouge in Danger and I really love that one too. If you're looking to treat your self or just want an easy to wear formula that doesn't feel heavy or drying, I think this one is tops!

Have you tried this formula? What did you think? Tell me in the comments and feel free to ask any
questions and if you liked this post be sure to share!
