I'm back with another look inspired by music I've been loving. The song I've basically had on repeat
recently is Lost Boy by Ruth B. I have always loved Peter Pan; from the original book to its many re-tellings. I just went with what I pictured while listening to the song and this is what I came up with.
What I used:
Bobbi Brown - Skin Foundation Stick in Alabaster and Almond
Bobbi Brown - Skin Foundation in Warm Ivory 1
Anastasia Beverly Hills - Brow Powder Duo in Ash Brown
Urban Decay - Brow Beater Microfine Brow Pencil in Dark Brown
Anastasia Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel
Becca - Ultimate Coverage Concealer Creme in Praline
Kat Von D Beauty - Shade + Light Contour Palette
Urban Decay - Beached Bonzer in Sun Kissed
Tarte - Cheek Stain in True Love
Becca - Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Creme in Pearl
Urban Decay - Primer Potion in Eden
Urban Decay - Alice Through The Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette
L'Oreal - Telescopic Mascara
Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte Shine - 4 Rouge in Danger
To create this look I wanted a very contoured, yet soft look to the face, which is why I used creams contouring. I wanted the eyes to look very Neverland. To me, that meant looking a little runway/odd. I made sure I had a very soft blend on the eye makeup and brought it into and outer wing and down the nose and inner corner a bit. All of the shades I used were in the red family: Red, fuchsia and orange. I left the lashes bare on the bottom and very minimal on the top. I put the lipstick on and then blended it out with my finger for more of a crushed berries look.
I hope you liked this post! Where do you find inspiration for makeup? Tell me in the comments!
