Charlotte Tilbury - Going Nude

When Charlotte Tilbury Launched her Hot Lips Lipstick range, inspired by the glamorous women
she works with, I got excited! There were a few shades that caught my eye, but I wanted to pick up a shade that I wouldn’t normally go for so I picked up, the very nude shade, Kim K W.
Named for the queen of the nude lip herself, Kim K West, this cream finish lipstick is soft and comfortable to wear. It is very far from any neutral shade I have and when paired with a smokey eye it creates a full glam look.

The girl at the counter suggested I try the lip liner Pillow Talk to pair with it to add some depth to the shade. I have heard amazing reviews from so many beauty bloggers about this shade so I decided to grab it too.
Hot Lips Lipstick in Kim K W:
This is a very light, neutral toned neutral. I normally go for more mauve or brown toned nudes so this is a real switch for me. I love the formula and it is nothing short of the quality I have come to expect from Charlotte Tilbury makeup. The lipstick lasts well, is non-drying, and feels comfortable on the lips for hours. It makes lips look bigger because it is both very light shade and has a cream finish. Though the shade is quite light it doesn’t get streaky or uneven when applying and is completely opaque.

Lip Cheat Pencil in Pillow Talk:
This is honestly a my-lips-but-better shade. It is very close to my natural lip color  and makes over-lining my lips easy. It’s also a great shade for all over the lips for a long wear finish or under a lipgloss. This is a must have shade now that I have it. The formula is soft, allowing you to not tug on the lips, but is also not so soft that it feather and doesn’t last. The formula is just how I like it.

When you pick up a CT product you pick up a bit of luxury, which is really what makeup
should be. Never is applying anything that Charlotte has worked on felt like a chore, but always a pleasure and never once have I been disappointed and I don’t think I can say that about any other cosmetics band out there.

Have you tried any of the Hot Lips collection? What shades are you lusting over?
